Kaile’s College Journey
“No Such Thing As A Life That’s Better Than Your Life”

Big Dreams, Bright Future
I’m not just going to college—I’m stepping into my purpose.
Kaile is headed to Tennessee State University to major in Nursing, where she’s preparing for a future of compassion, purpose, and global impact. Whether she becomes a NICU nurse, nurse practitioner, forensic nurse, or travel nurse, her goal is clear: to help people when they need it most—with heart and skill.

She’s especially drawn to working with vulnerable populations—infants, trauma survivors, underserved communities—and she’s passionate about mental health and justice in healthcare. But her ambitions go beyond the classroom: Kaile also hopes to study abroad, volunteer internationally, and travel to underserved regions where access to quality care is limited.

At TSU, she’s excited to get involved with student organizations that support her goals and stretch her skills. She plans to join:

-
HOSA – Future Health Professionals
-
Public Health, Health Administration & Health Sciences Student Association
-
National Alliance on Mental Illness (N.A.M.I.) on Campus
-
Criminal Justice Club

These groups will allow her to connect with like-minded peers, explore the intersections between healthcare and social justice, and build a strong foundation for the future she’s working toward. Whether she’s volunteering at a health fair, learning about forensic science, or advocating for mental wellness on campus, Kaile is ready to do the work.

TSU is more than just a college—it’s where she’ll find her voice, build her village, and step fully into her purpose.
Why TSU?
Kaile chose Tennessee State University because it just felt right—period.

She wanted a school where she wouldn’t have to shrink who she is to succeed. At TSU, she’ll be surrounded by people who look like her, lead like her, and support big dreams like hers. It’s a place where culture, community, and ambition all come together—and she’s here for it.
She’s especially excited about:

-
Being on a campus that celebrates Black excellence every day—not just during Black History Month
-
Finding mentors who understand her story and support her growth
-
Making real connections through student orgs, volunteer work, and just showing up as her full self
-
Soaking in the homecoming vibes, step shows, and lifelong memories that only HBCUs deliver

TSU is where Kaile will grow, glow, and grind—and she’s ready for all of it.
